Philadelphia Bike Messenger Association

There has been some changes in the PBMA with me, Airbud and Ansel taking office. But..... we still need people to come out and PARTICIPATE.

The three main goals are to get the Philly Messenger Emergency Fund running, attain non-profit status and finally get people out n involved.
See ya there.

Donations

Over the weekend Trevor Butler, our friend and co-worker died from injuries from a automobile accident while on tour with Bottom of the Hudson. Contact me or Shay at Amex if you would like to make a contribution to help his family pay for various funeral arrangements.

CETMA

How many copy boxes can one person carry from uptown too the east side comfortably in the dead of winter? The answer, three. Two on your Cetma rack and one in the bag. You can also carry, pizzas, two cases of beer, mail tubs, groceries, your friends, and just about anything else that can be strapped down with bungees. So yeah they kick ass and are sending a rack for the race.

KRYPTONITE is hella rad!!

Got home from work today and got a package from Kryptonite with a really awesome letter wishing me luck. I've had a NY chain for about six years and have never had a bike stolen in three cities. I did use another unnamed brand lock for about a month until it stopped opening up after one week of rain and messenger work. The point, kryptonite is the real deal and supports messenger events.
